Cincinnati Winter Storm of March 2008 : Photographs from the winter storm of March 2008 that blew through Cincinnati, OH. These were all taken on Saturday afternoon March 8th - beginning in Covington, KY, my friend Andy and I crossed the Roebling Suspension Bridge, stopped by Great American Ball Park and finally ended up at Eden Park around 3:30PM as the storm cleared. Cincinnati Parks will install the flowers beginning April 9, and it's expected to take four days to complete. ... The pansies will be arranged to replicate "Juin," a 1930 Art Moderne textile design by Paul Poiret that is in the collection of the Cincinnati Art Museum.
